We’re working with a well-known fashion brand looking to bring in a Senior Legal Counsel to provide hands-on support across a broad range of commercial and legal matters.
Location: Remote or London
Contract type: 6-month FTC, with the potential to become permanent
Full-time or Part-time (3–4 days per week)
The Role:
- Provide day-to-day legal support across commercial contracts, data protection, AI/technology, IP/brand protection, and general commercial matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with internal teams, suppliers, and partners
- Advise on marketing, e-commerce, and digital initiatives, including website terms, policies, and campaigns
- Support compliance, risk management, and internal policy initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, balancing commercial objectives with legal risk
- Take ownership of a diverse workload across multiple areas of the business
Ideal Candidate:
- ~5 years PQE+, ideally private practice trained and in-house experience in a fashion, retail, or consumer-facing business
- ~ Strong commercial awareness and experience across contracts, corporate/commercial law, data/privacy, technology, and IP/brand protection
- ~ Hands-on, proactive, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- ~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with non-legal teams
- ~ Passionate about the fashion industry and able to combine legal expertise with commercial insight
