We're supporting a leading digital commerce business seeking an Interim Commercial Lawyer to join its small legal team on an initial 2-month contract, with an ASAP start. This is a broad commercial role offering exposure to a wide range of legal matters across a technology-driven, e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial contracts experience, ideally gained within a technology, digital or e-commerce environment. Initial 2-month contract Hybrid working, 2 days per week in the London office ASAP start Key responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements Software, technology, and SaaS contracts Contract renewals and supplier agreements Supporting on data protection, IP, and AI-related matters Providing pragmatic legal advice to business stakeholders Supporting strategic and business-critical projects as required Key requirements: Qualified lawyer with approximately 1-5 years' PQE Strong commercial contracts experience Experience within a digital, technology, e-commerce, or online business Comfortable working autonomously in a small legal team Able to pick up a broad workload quickly and operate with minimal supervision Previous interim, contract, or secondment experience preferred Must be immediately available To register an interest, please send through your updated CV to kwilliams@lawabsolute.com
