This Legal 500 practice, with an impressive client base, is looking to recruit a business immigration solicitor on a contract basis. The role will involve delivering tailored immigration solutions to businesses and entrepreneurs. This includes all areas of immigration law, advising on visa and sponsorship and Sponsor Licence requirements and managing files with minimal supervision.

The role itself will include full case and file management advising on all types of inbound entry and right to work applications, drafting and reviewing applications, legal representations and offering strategic advice to clients to assist them in meeting their immigration objectives. The role will also involve supervision of a more junior member of staff and there are opportunities for business development if the individual wishes to be involved in this.

Suitable candidates will have at least six years of post-qualified business immigration experience. Candidates must also be qualified in England and Wales and be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the UK's points system, sponsorship requirements and corporate immigration compliance. They will also need to be able to manage a busy and varied caseload efficiently and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with two days per week based in London's West End. Initially for a period of three months, the contract may extend and candidates will be encouraged to apply for the permanent role.
