A strong residential conveyancing opportunity has become available with a highly regarded Top 500 law firm seeking a Residential Property Solicitor (3+ years’ PQE) to join its busy conveyancing team. This role is ideal for a technically confident lawyer with solid experience managing residential property work who is ready for increased responsibility and client ownership within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will be responsible for managing your own end-to-end residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to exchange, completion and post-completion formalities. The role requires exceptional client care, commercial awareness and the ability to work independently, handling all aspects of transactional residential work with accuracy and efficiency. Building new client relationships and contributing to the growth of the conveyancing practice through networking, referrer development and marketing activity will also be key to success in this role.
The Role
- Own and progress a varied residential property caseload to completion
- Provide high standards of client service with clear communication and proactive file management
- Deliver accurate completion statements, SDLT returns and post-completion submissions
- Ensure compliance with firm procedures and SRA risk controls
- Support business development, networking and relationship building with referrers
- Collaborate effectively within the conveyancing team and wider firm
- Supervise and guide support staff where applicable
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor (or Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive) with minimum 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
- Proven experience managing conveyancing matters independently
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to handle competing priorities and deliver results
- Confident in building client and referrer relationships as part of growth plans
