A leading law firm is seeking a Principal Associate (6+ PQE) to join its commercial contracts team in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is aimed at an experienced private sector commercial lawyer and focuses on drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, services, outsourcing and technology-enabled contracts. While some matters involve digital elements, this is not a specialist IT role. You’ll advise clients across sectors such as automotive, retail, financial services, energy and life sciences, working on both day-to-day commercial agreements and strategically important contracts. The team has a strong client base, offers real autonomy and values pragmatic, business-focused advice.
