An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a highly regarded law firm operating in the disputes, investigations and advisory space.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the firm's business development strategy, supporting revenue growth, strengthening client relationships and enhancing market profile. This is a hands-on role offering significant visibility across the business and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders on high-value, international matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the firm's business development strategy and annual plans.
- Work closely with partners and senior leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Lead client targeting, relationship management and pitch activity.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives, events and profile-raising campaigns.
- Oversee legal directory submissions and broader BD projects.
- Manage BD budgets and evaluate the effectiveness of business development activities.
- Mentor and support a Business Development Assistant.
About You
- 6-8 years' business development experience within professional services.
- Experience gained within legal, disputes, investigations, consulting or related sectors.
- Strong track record of supporting senior stakeholders and winning new business opportunities.
- Proactive, commercially minded and highly organised.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Previous management experience is advantageous.
