A local authority based in Greater Manchester is seeking a Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer for an initial period of nine months. This role is to start in March. The Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer will advise on all aspects of adult social care law including:
- Advising on community care and human rights assessments
- Court applications under the Mental Health Act
- Applications to the Court of Protection
- Eligibility cases
- NRPF
- Judicial reviews
- Ordinary residence
This is a hybrid working role, but the client can consider candidates with the relevant experience on a wholly remote basis. You must have previous experience in this area and a current practising certificate to be considered. The role is paying £65 umbrella. This is a full-time role for 37 hours per week. Previous local government experience is highly advantageous.
