We are working with a fast-growing, international consumer business expanding across Europe, looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel in London.

This is an exciting phase as the company continues to build its strong retail and operational footprint across the region.

London, flexible office working arrangements

The role:

  • Lead on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
  • Advise on retail, supply chain, distribution, franchise, and partnership arrangements
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to business teams across the UK and Europe
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders on business initiatives and expansion
  • Manage and streamline use of external counsel
  • Support on regulatory and compliance matters, including manufacturing regulations and food safety
  • Support property matters including leases and restaurant-related agreements
  • Advise on licensing, trademarks, and related IP matters
  • Assist with corporate and governance matters as required
  • Play a key role in building and scaling the legal function

Key requirements:

  • ~5+ PQE (England & Wales qualified)
  • ~ Strong background in commercial contracts (private practice or in-house)
  • ~ Commercially minded and pragmatic approach
  • ~ Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
  • ~ In-house or consumer/retail sector experience
  • ~ Regulatory experience very desirable
