We’re looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic and practical legal support for technology, operations, and content delivery. You’ll manage complex commercial and technology agreements, with a focus on OTT platforms, broadcast, and content operations.

Contract: 3–4 months (possible extension)

Rate: £475–600/day, umbrella rate

Hybrid working: London (3 days in office, 2 from home)

Must be immediately available

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead drafting and negotiation of complex technology, operational, and content agreements, including OTT, video distribution, and licensing deals.
  • Provide proactive legal advice to senior stakeholders on commercial and operational risks across technology, platform, and content operations.
  • Manage compliance, BAU operational queries, and contentious matters.
  • Mentor junior legal colleagues and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years PQE in corporate/commercial law, ideally within Technology, Media, or Telecoms.
  • Strong experience in technology contracts (software licensing, platforms, infrastructure) and OTT/video content agreements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to explain legal concepts clearly.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy regulations and operational compliance.
  • Must be immediately available.
