We’re currently working with a highly regarded Legal 500 / Top 500 firm based in the Hampshire/Surrey region, seeking a Senior Corporate Solicitor to join their award‑winning Corporate and Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer to work on complex, high‑profile transactions while developing their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.
The Role
- You will be advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including share sales and purchases, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, shareholders’ agreements, and company option schemes.
- You will also have the opportunity to work with a strong client base across the financial services and accountancy sectors, providing commercially focused, practical advice on corporate governance and transactional matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support corporate transactions, including share sales, acquisitions, disposals, and group reorganisations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, SPAs, disclosure letters, and ancillary agreements.
- Prepare and manage shareholder agreements, LLP agreements, and employee share/option schemes.
- Conduct and oversee legal due diligence, ensuring compliance and smooth transaction delivery.
- Provide advice on corporate governance matters and support clients across all stages of deals.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years PQE in corporate/commercial law.
- Strong technical drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with corporate matters in financial services or accountancy is highly desirable.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and collaborative in approach.
