Job Description Commercial Litigation Lawyer – Urgent Requirement \n\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority on an urgent basis, working on a high-profile and complex litigation matter. This role is for three months initially. \n\n The Role \n\n This position will play a key role in a significant litigation case, involving: \n\n \n\t Leading on disclosure and investigation exercises \n\t Working closely with internal police investigators \n\t Drafting comprehensive witness statements \n\t Supporting pre-litigation processes, including document review, enquiries, and evidence gathering \n\n\n This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive and complex information. \n\n Key Requirements \n\n \n\t Proven Commercial Litigation experience \n\t Strong experience in: \n\t Drafting witness statements \n\t Handling disclosure processes \n\t Conducting investigations and enquiries \n\t Managing pre-litigation steps \n\n\n \n\t Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, including investigative teams \n\t Availability to start immediately or at very short notice \n\n\n Additional Information \n\n This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-impact matter within a collaborative and professional environment. You must hold a current practising certificate.
