A local authority based in London is seeking a Childcare Paralegal for an initial period of three months.
The successful Childcare Paralegal will ideally have previously worked for a local authority childcare team, or have worked in a busy public family department in the private sector.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Renewing interim care orders and interim supervision orders
- Filing and serving documents
- Preparing bundles
- Supporting lawyers within the team
- Diary management
Previous experience working within a childcare or family department is essential.
The role is to start as soon as possible. Pay rate for the role is £15-18 PAYE per hour.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are only able to consider candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
