A prestigious law firm is seeking a Senior Pursuits Manager to join its high-performing Market team.
Hybrid Working Edinburgh or Bristol Office £60,000–£70,000 (depending on experience)
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented bids and pursuits professional to lead complex, high-value tenders and play a key role in shaping winning strategies across the business.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, partners, and business services teams, you will drive strategic pursuits from initial planning through to successful submission, helping to increase win rates and secure significant new opportunities. You will also act as a trusted deputy to the Head of Pursuits, contributing to the ongoing development of the function and team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic, cross-business tenders and pursuit activities.
- Develop and implement winning pursuit strategies, including competitor and stakeholder analysis.
- Influence and advise senior stakeholders on best-practice bid and pursuit approaches.
- Facilitate strategy meetings, manage key milestones, and mitigate potential risks.
- Coach teams for presentations, pitches, and client interviews.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and process efficiencies within the Pursuits function.
- Support team development through mentoring, training, and line management responsibilities.
- A proven track record of leading complex bids and tenders from strategy to successful outcome.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication, facilitation, and proposal-writing abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous people management or mentoring experience, with a passion for developing others.
