An excellent opportunity awaits an ambitious Senior Associate to join a well-known global firm in its highly regarded Planning team. The team assists both public and private clients with a comprehensive range of planning matters, covering both contentious and transactional issues. They provide market-leading advice to help clients secure permission for commercial and strategic projects. Their track record spans complex developments, heritage properties, and high-value residential schemes. Collaboration with planning authorities, stakeholders, and developers is central to their approach. They often work alongside real estate, construction, and finance experts to form tailored client teams. For contentious issues, they offer strategic advice, manage appeals, and defend against planning challenges.
Experience required:
- Qualified in England and Wales or in a Common Law jurisdiction.
- At least 5 years’ PQE in a recognised planning practice.
- Ability to provide practical, clear advice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
- A self-starter with plenty of drive and initiative.
