Planning - Senior Associate

A top-tier international law firm is seeking a Planning Associate or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Planning and Zoning practice. The firm is known for a forward-thinking culture, a global presence, and enviable reputation for excellence in real estate and infrastructure law.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Planning Associate with upwards of 5 years PQE to step into a Senior Associate position in the team.

The successful candidate will work on major planning projects, while also managing smaller matters independently.

• Advising on planning law and procedure for major infrastructure and urban regeneration projects .
• Securing Development Consent Orders (DCOs) for nationally significant infrastructure projects.
• Drafting and negotiating statutory agreements such as s106 and s278 agreements.
• Supporting contentious matters such as judicial review and land compensation claims .
• Advising on Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs) and related statutory powers.
• Providing planning support for real estate and finance transactions .
