Job Description
LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Lancashire for a Locum Planning Lawyer on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend.

You will handle a caseload of Highways and Planning matters, including s38, s278, s106 agreements, public rights of way, and other planning and enforcement and licence/consent matters.

The council is looking for a locum planning lawyer with previous local government experience.

To apply you will be:

- An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister, or CILEX lawyer Able to demonstrate previous experience within planning law from a local government environment Able to work on a hybrid basis if located in Lancashire, otherwise able to work fully remote Available on no more than a 4-week notice period

The salary for this role will be £40-£50/hour umbrella, depending on experience.
