This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Commercial Lawyer (2–6 years’ PQE) to join Law 365 and build a long-term specialism in technology-focused commercial law. We are looking for someone who is not only a strong commercial lawyer, but someone who is also driven, ambitious, collaborative, and genuinely excited by the opportunity to help grow the business to new levels.
This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants to work closely with innovative, scaling and high-growth tech businesses, and who is motivated by being part of a modern law firm doing things differently. At Law 365, you won’t be a small cog in a traditional structure. You will be part of a high-performing, supportive team working with brilliant technology businesses on sophisticated, high-value and strategically important matters.
You will join our Commercial Team and work on a broad range of commercial matters, with a particular focus on supporting technology clients. This is a role for someone who wants to become a true specialist in the sector — learning the language of tech businesses, understanding how they scale, and advising on the contracts and legal issues that matter most to them.
You will work on a variety of agreements and advisory matters, including:
- SaaS agreements
- Master services agreements
- Software and technology services contracts
- Supply of goods and services agreements
- Partnership and reseller arrangements
- Customer and supplier contracts
- Outsourcing and third-party service agreements
- Data protection-related commercial support
- Strategic commercial negotiations
This is a hands-on role with real scope for development. You will be encouraged to take ownership, build confidence, deepen your expertise and contribute meaningfully to both client work and the wider success of the firm.
We are looking for a lawyer who is:
- 2–6 years’ PQE
- A qualified solicitor with solid commercial contracts experience gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both
- Genuinely motivated to specialise in technology and tech-focused commercial law
- Driven and ambitious, with a desire to accelerate their development and take on increasing responsibility
- A true team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting others
- Commercially minded, practical and solutions-focused
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who wants to be part of a business that is growing — and wants to help drive that growth
Experience of technology contracts, IT/IP issues and/or data protection would be highly desirable, but just as important is a clear enthusiasm for the tech sector and the appetite to build expertise in it.
In this role, you will:
- Advise on, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, particularly for technology clients
- Support clients on day-to-day commercial legal issues and strategic contract negotiations
- Manage smaller and mid-sized matters with increasing autonomy
- Work alongside partners on larger or more complex transactions
- Build your technical expertise in tech law and become a trusted adviser to clients in the sector
- Lead or support client calls, negotiations and relationship management
- Contribute to excellent client service through clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm and support a one-team culture
- Contribute to business development activities, including sales support, proposals, networking, marketing content, blogs and thought leadership
- Help identify improvements to systems, processes and ways of working
- Play an active role in Law 365’s culture and growth journey

- Takes ownership
- Brings energy and positivity
- Works well with others
- Is excited by working with ambitious clients
- Wants to be part of a business that is scaling
- Is prepared to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
