Our client is looking for a Head Chef for their fast-growing casual dining restaurant group which focuses on Japanese cuisine. Our client already has sites around the UK and plans to increase by 5 sites over the next 18 months.
The role would suit a Sous Chef looking to step up as all processes, policies and systems are in place together with specifications for all dishes on the standardised menu. As a Head Chef you will manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and lead a Back of House team. You will also ensure the quality of the food and service is up to brand standards whilst developing the team and maintaining high quality safety standards in the restaurant.
- Lead the kitchen team in delivering an outstanding level of service
- Manage budgets, rotas and GP in keeping with the set targets
- Ensure the highest level of compliance regarding Health & Safety regulations
- Develop, drive and inspire the kitchen team in a calm and professional manner
- Manage and maintain an excellent stock control and wastage records
- Flexibility regarding working days and hours is a key requirement
What’s on offer:
- Salary on offer is £12.21 per hour during probation and £13.21 per hour after probation (including tronc)
- 48 hours per week
- 28 days holiday a year including 8 bank holidays
