Our client is looking for a Front Office Manager for their 4-star hotel in Hertfordshire. The role would suit a Reception Manager looking for their next management role within a growing nationwide group. The Front Office Manager's focus will be the consistent delivery of high standards of service and as such a key area of responsibility will be training staff to the correct level. You will be directly responsible for the reception and nights team within the hotel.

The Role

  • As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective performance of the reception and nights team.
  • Whilst pro-actively performing your duties you will be giving quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Check that room allocation and upgrades are conducted proficiently.
  • Ensure guests are welcomed and receive an outstanding level of customer service.
  • Management and training.
  • Liaising with all departments on a daily basis.
  • Monitoring revenue figures to ensure targets are met.

Experience and Skills required

  • Experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Must have previous fine dining experience and worked to AA standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Able to work within budgets.

  • My client is offering the successful Front of House Manager a salary up to £27,000.
  • 5 out of 7 days.
