About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced and dedicated Children's Support Workers to work across Wrexham and surrounding areas. This role involves supporting children and young people within outward-bound settings and residential care environments, providing high-quality care to those with complex needs, challenging behaviour, and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and group support to children with complex needs
  • Managing and responding appropriately to challenging behaviours
  • Supporting children in residential and outward-bound settings

  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience working with children
  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and/or EBD
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and sleep-ins
  • A proactive, resilient, and compassionate approach
