We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our LAVOBar team. You will create exceptional drinks and memorable guest experiencesthrough expert cocktail preparation, warm personalised service and consistentlyhigh standards. Working closely with the Bar and Restaurant teams, you willcontribute to the vibrant atmosphere of LAVO.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and serve classic cocktails to aconsistently high standard, using correct recipes, techniques and presentation.
- Deliver attentive, personalised service.
- Engage confidently with guests, make informeddrinks recommendations and create a welcoming bar atmosphere.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of classiccocktails, spirits, wines and other beverages.
- Work efficiently during busy service,coordinating with the bar, restaurant and kitchen teams.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, mise en place,glassware and presentation throughout service.
- Support stock rotation, replenishment, accurateorders and responsible control of wastage.
- Follow licensing requirements, responsiblealcohol service, allergen awareness and health and safety procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative teamculture and consistently excellent guest experiences.
About You
- You will have bartending experience in a busy,high-quality restaurant or premium bar.
- Friendly, polished and composed under pressure,you take pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail and outstanding guestservice.
We're looking for someonewith:
- Essential: proven experience preparing andserving a wide range of classic cocktails confidently and accurately.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktailingredients, preparation methods and presentation.
- Previous bartending experience in a premiumrestaurant, hotel or high-volume cocktail bar.
- Excellent guest engagement, communication and teamworkskills.
- Ability to maintain speed, consistency and attention todetail during busy service.
- Sound understanding of bar hygiene, allergen awareness and responsible alcohol service.
- A positive, professional and collaborative approach.
- Flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings,weekends and peak service periods.
