We are looking to recruit a SEND class teacher with passion and enthusiasm to lead the provision in our SEND unit for children with complex autism and severe learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personalised Learning: Deliver engaging, highly differentiated, and sensory-rich lessons tailored to individual learning needs, ensuring the curriculum is accessed appropriately and effectively for all abilities.
  • Staff Leadership: Lead, manage, and deploy a team of support staff to deliver specialist teaching on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis.
  • Therapeutic & Collaborative Partnership: Work closely within the wider school and Trust teams, partnering with parents, therapists, and external professionals to ensure an integrated, therapeutic approach.
  • Holistic Progress: Track incremental successes and contribute directly to EHCP outcomes, assessments, and annual reviews to ensure our pupils thrive.
  • Environment: Create a positive, structured, calm, and inclusive learning environment.
