This wonderful creative agency in north London is looking for a hardworking, confident and proactive Junior Office Manager to work alongside the Senior Office Manager to help the office run smoothly. You don't need much experience, just a good attitude and to be hard working and conscientious. They are open to the Junior Office Manager joining them on a part time or full time basis, and ideally to have a Junior Office Manager in place in the next 2-3 weeks.
Duties will include:
- Facilities management, including liaising with external contractors and building management
- Ensuring office is fully stocked with kitchen and stationery supplies at all times
- Maintaining a tidy, well-organised office environment
- Managing reception, answering phones and greeting clients and visitors
- Co-ordinating deliveries, post and courier services
- Managing shared inboxes, calendars and bookings where required
- Maintaining digital and physical filing systems, and assisting with data entry and record keeping
- Setting up equipment for new starters (laptops, phones, email accounts)
- Supporting with simple IT troubleshooting
- Maintaining office systems such as printers and meeting room technology
- Supporting routine office health and safety checks
- Maintaining compliance records (e.g. fire checks, H&S logs)
- Company event organisation
- Potential for some HR administration, including assisting with new starter and freelancer onboarding, note taking, and absence management
- Assisting the Operations Director with a variety of tasks as requested, covering some aspects of their role during periods of absence.
About you:
- Up to one year of experience in an office/studio assistant role, ideally within a creative environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, can-do attitude with ability to multitask
- Good working knowledge of both PCs and Macs, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High attention to detail
- Able to maintain a calm demeanour
- Enthusiastic, reliable and hands-on
- Client liaison experience
- Ability to work autonomously where required
- Aptitude for learning new skills
- Keen to develop a career in Studio and Operations Management
Salary and Benefits:
- £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
- Hybrid working 4:1 after probation
