As a Site Coordinator you will design and supply nuclear waste treatment plants and components such as evaporators, dryers, cementation and potting systems, and high-pressure presses. In addition, Westinghouse develops dismantling technologies for the segmentation of contaminated and activated plant components above and below water. You will report to the Senior Technology Leader and be located at Mannheim.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and support in the review of design documents such as specifications, data sheets, operating instructions, functional descriptions, designs, drawings, test instructions and final documentation
  • Compilation of documentation packages
  • Monitoring of suppliers and the manufacturing process
  • Participation in factory acceptance tests at suppliers or customers
  • On-site inspections and support during commissioning (mechanics) of complete systems
  • Support in the preparation of offers (technical concepts, technical descriptions)
  • Working in international teams
  • Travel and activities (national / international)

Qualifications

  • State-certified technician (completed)
  • Driver's license (car)
  • Fluency in German and English is required
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Strong technical interest, flexibility, technical understanding and ability to work in a team
