About The Role

As a Manager, Projects Procurement you will preferably have a strong Supply Chain (Strategy, RFx, Supplier Relationship, Contract Negotiation, and Contract Management) background with experience in purchasing of services and equipment for major projects, including Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC). You will be a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality, HSE and Project Managers. You will have strong commercial relationship skills towards suppliers with the goal of providing clear, timely and innovative solutions to the organization\’s requests.

An advanced level of spoken and written English, any additional language is a plus (Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish,).

Ability to travel within Europe (10 to 20%).

You will report to the EMEA Manager,Projects Procurement and be located at Springfield.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct all pre and post award project procurement activities associated with EPC/EPIC/EPCM projects as applicableDevelopment of sourcing & procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers and establish a communication channel toward the suppliers.Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirementsRFx development and preparation, definition of commercial conditionsAnalyze and evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements. Develop strategies and tactics to maximize supplier base cost/value.Develop and maintain extensive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of project procurement management experienceRepresent GSCS PPM within a Project Team reviewElaborate and define the overall Project Procurement Program schedule.Responsible for driving a project PPM team within high complexity project.Responsible for the development of the procurement strategy for the procurement of goods and services necessary for the project in compliance with the set requirements (cost, quality, deadline, etc.).Ensures commercial compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse\’s procurement policies and procedures.Explores the market in collaboration with the different teams to identify new technologies that create value for the end customerExperience in managing EPIC Project Procurement activitiesWorking knowledge of NEC/FIDIC regulationsLeadership skills / Experiences in managing a teamProject management skillsStrong communication Skills, Interact with executive Level
