As a Plant Controller you will be the first line of management for the production facility. You will coordinate production safely, address operational issues, and maintain compliance with quality standards, whilst ensuring completion of production targets. You will report to Plant Manager and be located at Springfields Fuels Ltd. This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce all safety rules and procedures to ensure safe running of the manufacturing plant.
  • Conduct safety inspections and address any hazards immediately.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all aspects of quality control are being followed.
  • Coordinate shift handovers with the previous and oncoming shift supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage material flow.
  • Monitor and manage team attendance across all work areas to ensure continuous operations.
  • Report any issues or production discrepancies to plant management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to identify issues and decide on required actions.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Competency with computers.
