As a
Commercial Contracts Manager (Fuel Delivery) , you will lead the management of commercial sales contracts related to fuel and intermediate manufacturing and delivery, ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly understood and effectively executed to deliver value for both Westinghouse and its customers.
This is a customer‑facing role where you will collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders to drive compliant and efficient contract performance.
Your role will be hybrid, requiring both remote work and regular on‑site presence.
- You will report to the
- Head of Fuel Delivery and Contract Management and be located at the
Springfields Fuel site . This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week on‑site alongside flexible homeworking, with occasional international business travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company and act as the contractual lead and key interface with the customer, maintaining and developing excellent customer and other stakeholder relationships to support contract delivery.
- Lead all customer meetings, visits and audits demonstrating an ability to positively impact desired outcomes.
- Deliver the contract(s) and all contract deliverables.
- Balance the needs of the Customer and Westinghouse capability and commercial interests.
- Lead the delivery of the Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys, including the management, feedback and close‑out of resultant improvement actions.
- Review and agree delivery schedules and shipment details following contractual lead times.
- Ownership and management of the contract(s) demand and financials including all income and cash forecasting, invoicing and cash collection, and Business Plan submission with the Customer Account Manager/Fuel Delivery and Contract Management Director.
- Ownership and management of risk, mitigation plans and escalation.
- Ownership and management of change, including tracking and close‑out with partners.
- Maintain system and control standards to support delivery while continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
- In delivery of the contract(s), manage and support the interface between all Westinghouse supporting departments and other departments such as production, quality, transport, finance and the relevant Westinghouse Departments in EMEA/ASIA/USA.
- Seek new opportunities within your contracts/customers.
- Lead new opportunities through our Stage Gate process and work with Commercial Integration / Customer Account Managers in reviewing offer letters and contract drafts.
- Other Activities to Support the BPD Team
- Lead one of the department’s leadership pillars (e. g., Safety Quality Cost Delivery People).
- Lead the department’s generic deliverables such as Export Licence Control, Demand, Procedural Adherence, etc.
- Contribute to the department metrics requirements by providing safety shares, completion of process confirmations and self‑audits.
- Complete all required training.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert within the department, driving higher standards and promoting continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Number of years of relevant commercial experience with customer interface.
- A professional qualification relevant to the role or relevant experience.
Skills
- Financial acumen with an understanding of forecasting, business planning and contract pricing.
- Knowledge of import and export regimes and logistics.
- Follow all legislative, regulatory and company procedures and standards such as safety, quality, risk and security relevant to the role.
- Role requires some travel.
