As an Account Executive you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and strengthening strategic customer relationships across assigned UK accounts. You will act as Westinghouse’s primary customer interface and internal advocate, developing deep insight into customer strategies, fleet plans and priorities, and translating these into actionable business opportunities across the full Westinghouse portfolio. This role owns the development of the opportunity pipeline and supports the successful conversion of opportunities into orders, working in close coordination with Business Units, product lines and support functions. You will ensure a consistent and high‑quality customer experience by maintaining alignment between customer expectations and Westinghouse delivery organisations, while providing continuous feedback to improve commercial positioning and long‑term competitiveness. The position is based in the United Kingdom and requires significant travel (typically 50–70%) to maintain strong, on‑site engagement with customers and internal stakeholders. You will report to the Regional Account Executive, Southern Europe & UK and be located at Springfields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own development and growth of the opportunity pipeline for assigned UK accounts, ensuring quality, timing and alignment with customer needs.
  • Deliver on agreed Sales KPIs including Orders Entered, revenue, margin and cash objectives.
  • Lead opportunity maturation from identification through offer development, ensuring robust capture strategies and risk‑informed proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer strategies, fleet plans and investment priorities, translating insights into actionable opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain account plans aligned with long‑term customer asset management strategies.
  • Identify and shape opportunities across the Westinghouse portfolio, coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver competitive, value‑driven proposals.
  • Assess commercial and technical risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation and alignment with company risk tolerance.
  • Act as the customer‑facing integrator across Business Units, ensuring alignment between sales, product and execution teams.
  • Maintain situational awareness of project delivery performance and customer satisfaction, escalating issues when required.
  • Provide structured insights on customer strategies, competitor positioning and market trends to inform sales strategy, product development and business planning.
  • Drive effective use of CRM tools (D365) to manage pipeline, actions and reporting.
  • Build strong internal relationships across Global Markets, Business Units and support functions to ensure coordinated execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent related technical discipline; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience is typically required.
  • International experience is valuable given diversity of customer base.
  • Field experience is highly valued.
  • Experience in nuclear plant engineering, project and resource management, and direct customer interface typically acquired minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible and varied leadership assignments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Westinghouse roles and responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all Westinghouse commercial policies and procedures.
  • Refined commercial acumen and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft D365, Power BI, PRIME and SAP, Adobe Pro.
  • Knowledge of nuclear utility buying practices.
  • Willing to travel to customer offices, vendor facilities or industry conferences may be required.
