Lavazza Professional is seeking a proactive HSE Technician to partner with our HSE Manager in delivering safety, environmental, and compliance performance across our Basingstoke sites and field-based teams.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the Occupational Health, Safety, Energy, and Environmental Management System (OHSEE), ensuring up-to-date policies, procedures, risk assessments, and compliance.
  • Oversee the audit schedule, drive corrective/preventative actions, and perform safety/environmental inspections.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution and escalation.
  • Support ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards, liaise in internal and external audits.
  • Design, review, and deliver HSE training (e.g. new starter inductions, COSHH, manual handling, workplace transport, waste management etc.).
  • Lead small-scale HSE/environmental projects and promote a positive safety culture via briefings, initiatives, and communications.
  • Coach and develop health and safety representatives; deputise for the HSE Manager when required.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, influencing management and stakeholders.
  • Champion Lavazza’s values with clear communication and promoting positive behavioural standards.
