This role is for a Field Based Technician who will maintain, install and service vending machines. The position covers all of Scotland, so travel and occasional overnight stays may be required. Customer contact is part of the role, but it is not a customer service position.

Key responsibilities:
- Install vending machines at customer sites, including delivery of training and building customer relationships.
- Proactively maintain and repair the machine base to defined standards.
- Decommission and reinstall machines when required.
- Understand and comply with all Health & Safety requirements and regulations.
- Meet core operational objectives and drive account profitability.
- Manage customer and business demand in your own territory while working with the team to meet regional KPIs.
- Travel outside your territory to support other areas when required.
- Stay overnight if needed for training, operational or business needs.
- Accurately manage spares to minimise cost and eliminate stock‐outs.
- Own local problems through resolution to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Lead and participate in team meetings and projects at regional and national levels to achieve efficiency gains.
The successful candidate will:
- Have GCSE or equivalent passes in Maths, English, and Science (formal qualification in an electrical or electromechanical field preferred).
- Have experience in a customer‐facing role dealing with issues/complaints effectively.
- Have experience in a technical or mechanical role requiring fault‐finding and repair.
- Be competent at using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Be a strong communicator with the confidence to upsell and provide recommendations.
- Be able to work remotely, prioritising tasks with limited supervision.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
