The Role
This role is responsible for the strategic direction of the UK Market from a B2Cup machine and drinks innovation perspective ensuring the right proposition and activity is developed and implemented. The role holder will work across the organisation to ensure that these priorities are delivered with and through all key stakeholders to deliver the agreed commercial objectives in the UK market.
The role will act as the market lead for the UK on projects for this Market and be the voice of the customer and market aligning with the UK management team, sales teams and aligning with Head Quarters in Turin.
The role will act as the single demand organisation point of contact for innovation and current portfolio development and feed into the strategic planning activity working alongside the UK Marketing Director driving measurable business benefit across Bean to Cup ranges, Micro Markets and Coffee to Go proposition meeting and exceeding annual targets.
Responsibilities including designing the activation marketing plan and delivering it for the Sales teams to implement and drive sales and maximise the customer journey – ensuring that all new products and existing product portfolio (drinks and machines) are promoted and implemented to existing and prospect audiences.
A key element of this role is ensuring that all stakeholders, customers, distributors, and key teams are briefed, trained and understand B2Cup propositions; the features and benefits and the key selling points designed around a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Bean to Cup portfolio, Mirco Markets and Coffee to Go portfolio and implementation of new business and extensions of business, maximising the impact of the installs.
- Develop and manage portfolio of machines for the Bean to Cup and Coffee to Go channels to maximise opportunities are identified, leading the project team to deliver is customer.
- Be the Voice of the Customer in understanding current and future customer / market needs. Monitor competitor positioning and opportunity.
- Lead on the Financial performance of all in-life products and ensure a strong shape within the overall portfolio. Review and lead on pricing strategy for full portfolio.
- Ensure that we have a strong grasp of supply requirements for UK Market so that our forecasting aligns with Sales’ needs and manage stock levels of finished goods.
- Analyse the throughput performance of all drinks to ensure clarity on which products work best for our customers and our business.
- Increase our penetration of strong performing products with particular focus on ensuring our Eco cup offering is meeting volume, revenue, and penetration targets.
- Ensure that all customer facing employees are well versed in the USPs of all relevant products.
Assess Product Lifecycle and performance:
- Lead on all category and product development – inputting into financial, volume and throughput performance on an ongoing basis
- Make recommendations and improvements to portfolio mix because of above.
- Create monthly marketing report to advise on existing product performance and opportunities.
- Prepare business cases for investment requirements for existing products and manage projects to deliver new initiatives and propositions for the portfolio.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work with upstream Supply stakeholders to ensure volume and type of products are delivered on time for UK Demand team.
- Align with Sales on hitting product targets, ensuring that Channel mobilisation targets are met and that customer needs are understood.
- Work with Project Management, align with HQ teams and other peers to ensure that product requirements are delivered on time and to quality requirements.
- Ensure that UK and European Leadership teams and EU Marketing are aligned with needs and priorities.
Market Insight
- Assess current and future market needs and business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor and market trends.
- Assess customer and prospect needs and opportunities.
Product and Project Delivery
- Ensure product improvements are delivered in time and to Market needs.
- Deliver projects in line with Product Management life cycle stages.
Commercial delivery
- Ensure that product enhancements support business strategy.
- Deliver volume and financial shape targets across full portfolio including Eco cup delivery targets
Experience
- industry or related experience preferred
- Relevant qualification plus 3 years plus work experience
- Attention to detail
- Relationship building with clients and stakeholders
Due to the nature of the role some travel across the UK will be expected.
Only candidates based within the UK will be considered due to the interview process. The successful candidate will be required to provide back checks which will include a DBS check
Pay: ÂŁ56,000.00-ÂŁ60,000.00 per year plus annual bonus (profit and performance related)
