We are looking for an experienced Tekla Detailer / Draughtsperson to join our team, working on a variety of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 3D Tekla models, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and project reports, working closely with architects, engineers, and fabrication teams to deliver high-quality project information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and Tekla reports.
- Develop accurate Tekla Structures models from architect and engineer drawings.
- Interpret engineering calculations, specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings meet UK standards and fabrication requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve detailing and design issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience using Tekla Structures (flexibility for the right candidate).
- Strong knowledge of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork detailing.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Previous UK-based experience working to British Standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a good understanding of fabrication processes.
