We are looking for an experienced Tekla Detailer / Tekla Draughtsperson to join our team, producing detailed Tekla Structures models, General Arrangement (GA) drawings and fabrication drawings for a range of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Steel Detailer or Tekla Structures Detailer to work on a diverse portfolio of projects within a well-established and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate 3D Tekla Structures models from architectural and structural engineering drawings.
  • Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, material reports and project documentation.
  • Interpret engineering calculations, specifications and project requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with British Standards and fabrication requirements.
  • Work closely with architects, structural engineers, project managers and fabrication teams to resolve technical detailing queries.
  • Support projects from design through to fabrication and installation. Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a Tekla Detailer, Tekla Draughtsperson, Steel Detailer or similar (flexibility for the right candidate).
  • Strong knowledge of Tekla Structures, structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience detailing structural steelwork and architectural metalwork.
  • Auto CAD and Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Previous UK experience working to British Standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of steel fabrication processes.
