About the Role
As Site Manager, you will oversee all on-site metal works activities, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity across multiple project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all site-based metal works operations.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure works are completed according to project specifications and drawings.
- Monitor project progress and maintain project schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Resolve site issues and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare site reports and provide regular project updates.
- Manage site resources to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or similar role.
- Strong background in metal works, steel fabrication, or structural steel projects.
- Excellent understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Relevant construction or engineering qualifications preferred.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites where required.
