Role: NPD and Project Manager
Salary: up to £48,000
Location: London, hybrid
Are you passionate about driving innovation in the beauty and personal care industry? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of developing products from concept to launch? My client and I are looking for a dynamic Product Development Manager to join a leading beauty brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end product development processes, from ideation to commercialization, for a wide range of beauty and personal care products (skincare, haircare, cosmetics, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, regulatory, and supply chain, to ensure product innovation aligns with brand strategy and market demands.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify new product opportunities.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across all stages of product development.
- Collaborate with packaging and design teams to ensure aesthetic, functional, and sustainable packaging solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in product development, ideally within the beauty and personal care industry.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional understanding of formulation processes, product testing, and regulatory requirements.
- A creative thinker with a passion for beauty trends and innovation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead product development initiatives.
