We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Teaching Assistant to join our team at Gorsey Bank Primary School. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, whether you're considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a range of suitable learning and play activities that will enhance teaching and learning for all pupils, including those with additional needs (indoor and outdoor).

This position is contracted on an 18 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
Job Purpose
- To support the learning, personal development and inclusion of pupils in accordance with the ethos and policies of the school.
- To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old in a safe, secure and stimulating kids club environment.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
