We are seeking an inspiring and committed Teacher of Religious Studies to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people understand the world around them, develop critical thinking skills, and explore a rich range of philosophical, religious, ethical and cultural perspectives.
We believe that to understand the world and our place within it, students need to explore the cultures, traditions and beliefs of others while developing a strong sense of self. Through Beliefs and Values, including Religious Studies, PSHE and Citizenship, we equip pupils with the powerful knowledge they need to become respectful, tolerant and active citizens. Our curriculum helps students make informed decisions about moral, ethical and current issues; celebrate similarities and differences; build positive physical and mental wellbeing; form healthy, respectful relationships; develop empathy and recognise ambiguity; take pride in who they are; broaden their worldview; understand the choices available to them; and learn about key religious beliefs and practices and their impact on society.
