Building on the success of our partner sites, we are delighted to introduce our new Sports Centre, Club Ryecroft, located within Laurus Ryecroft. Club Ryecroft will have a variety of sporting facilities available to hire to local community groups and sporting clubs. This development leads to a fantastic opportunity for a driven and passionate Sports Centre Assistant Manager to become a part of our brand new team.
In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in assisting with the organisation of a programme of activities to meet the community needs and deliver it within the Sports Lettings community use hours. The working pattern for this position will be midweek shifts x 4 nights (2 x 3.30pm-10.30pm, 2 x 4pm-10.30pm) and Sunday 8am-6pm.
Job Purpose: To act as a point of contact with community users including the effective running of all Sports bookings. To represent the Trust / School during community sports lettings periods.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
- Must be able to move equipment correctly (e.g. badminton posts, table tennis tables)
- Prior experience in a similar role
