We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Laurus Ryecroft. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, whether you're considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as keyworker for students with SEND in order to support their progress throughout school.

We have two roles available contracted up to 34.5 hours per week on a Term Time Only basis. We have a Permanent and Fixed-Term role available; please specify in the additional questions section which role you are applying for.
Job Purpose:
- Support identified students within the classroom environment and within small group situations.
- Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
