Contract Type: Full Time

Salary: £26,000 per year, including on‑call pay*

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm, plus on call one weekday per week and one weekend per month. Weekend Availability Required.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Maidstone. The role requires previous care and coordinating experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage staff rotas, ensuring visits are allocated consistently and in a timely manner.
  • Manage staff annual leave and accommodate any required training in rotas.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Reablement Workers/Care Assistants and build good working relationships.
  • Liaise with other professionals.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in scheduling/coordinating/rota planning in the care sector.
  • Experience using a rostering system.
  • Experience in care calls, including taking part in holding the 'out of hours' on‑call phone.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in care and 1 year in coordinating.
  • Strong work ethic, organisational skills, positive personality.
  • Good communication and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to cope under pressure, remain calm and patient.
  • Ability to deal with change and show empathy and understanding.
  • Flexible and reliable.
