Lauriem Complete Care is a well established and expanding provider of domiciliary health and social care services.
We serve as both a local authority contracted and private provider.
We are looking to recruit a full time
Care Co-ordinator to join our fast paced but friendly team in Maidstone.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Responsible for allocating all scheduled care calls using our rostering system and meeting the needs of the service user.
- Responsible for building care runs that are cost effective and efficient
- Liaise with the recruitment team to ensure adequate capacity
- Monitor community care workers and carry out supervisions and welfare checks
- Liaise with other professionals involved in the service users care
- To support and / or be included in the On-Call service during out of hours
- To ensure effective communication with Customers with reference to any changes to care needs and call times.
Skills and abilities
- Able to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative
- Skilled logistics
- Highly organised and able to prioritise.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of domiciliary care provision.
Preferable
- Be willing to work towards a QCF (NVQ) level 3 in Care/ Management or equivalent.
- Domiciliary Care experience.

- IT skills
- Excellent customer service skills

- Pleasant, helpful & concise telephone manner with customer focus.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment.
- Patient and empathetic.
