We are currently recruiting Community Care Assistants to join our dedicated and skilled team in Sittingbourne and surrounding areas. This role would suit someone who is reliable, caring and compassionate. You will be working within a supportive team environment that always strives to offer the very best levels of care to clients. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Travelling to client homes to provide the highest level of support to individuals who are adjusting to life back at home
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks
  • Observing, monitoring and record keeping
  • Building relationships with service users and understanding what will really make a difference to their daily lives
  • Promoting self-care and skills in a safe setting
  • Encouraging and supporting clients with daily tasks
  • Providing support, guidance and encouragement during client recovery period

Our candidate expectations are:

  • Kind, compassionate, caring, and honest.
  • Can fulfil a 7am-2pm or 4pm-10pm shift pattern.
  • Willing to undertake personal care tasks including bathing and toileting.
  • Comfortable and confident working as part of a team or lone working.
  • Have the use of their own transport during working hours.
