Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, working Monday – Thursday, and Friday
Location: Mobile Working, with travel across the East Midlands (North team located in and around Ilkeston, Long Eaton and the surrounding areas)
The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for x6 General Maintenance Operatives to join our Internal Maintenance Service (IMS) Planned Works department. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance functions as required by emh homes to the highest possible standard to our customers, and you may be required to work in other teams across the IMS during your employment with emh.
The Ideal Candidate Requires The Below:
- Our priority is our customers, and you must demonstrate your commitment to delivering an excellent service for our customers.
- Have broad experience working on day to day maintenance in occupied and unoccupied properties, including being multi-skilled in other trades relevant to day to day and void housing repairs.
- You should have a team working ethos as this team works closely together to ensure they deliver their schedule of works.
- The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE or equivalent level in Maths and English.
- The ability to travel is essential as you will travel to our customers' homes situated across the East Midlands.
- It is essential you are competent in using digital and ICT skills including use of: internet, email/Outlook calendar, mobile phone/tablet computer, MS Word, & Digital Safety.
