MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and groom the product backlog so that each sprint is prioritized to offer the best value in the shortest possible delivery time.
- Act as the voice of the business to the product team and a key path to resolving impediments raised by the team.
- Find new innovative product solutions through procurement or development to deliver the necessary business value.
- Lead and support the product team in sprint playbacks to ensure that business expectations are met, and the delivery is aligned to the business requirements.
- Support and lead the team in sprint retrospectives to ensure that impediments encountered during the sprint cycle are not repeated, and that the process is continually improved to maximize the team's velocity without impacting quality.
- Ensure all items meet the definition of ready before they are entered into a sprint (e.g., sized, stories complete, acceptance criteria agreed).
- Ensure all items meet the definition of done before they are included in the sprint demo.
- Act as the product SME:
- Communicate product value, features and benefits to the business.
- Support the Product line strategy owner in defining the Product line roadmap by including the detail of the product roadmap and prioritizing the delivery.
- Identify new opportunities for the product to deliver business value which can be included in the Product/Product line roadmaps.
- Be responsible for the solution design for their products and their contribution to the product line.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree, or relevant Industry experience / project management experience.
- Experience with Rockwell Factory Talk, Aveva MES, Aveva SCADA, Aveva System Platform, InTouch and/or industrial control systems; Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens PLCs.
- Understands MES software development lifecycle and solution support methodologies.
- Experience in Installation and Commissioning, System platform Migrations, Maintenance and Troubleshooting, FAT and SAT for MES/SCADA projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills needed to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of networking topologies (Ethernet, serial, and wireless), preferred.
- Knowledgeable on Industrial communication protocols, preferred.
- Experience with databases, Microsoft SQL preferred.
