The Financial Analyst will drive improved decision making and delivery of business results by providing proactive forward-looking strategic, commercial, and financial insights to the Consumer team.
Responsibilities
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular financial reports with key figures and analyses of performance. Provide commentary and insight into business performance to drive understanding of month-end results, financial forecasts, and budgets.
- Business Partnership: Provide financial support on short-term projects and long-term strategic objectives. Interpret customer-specific requests from the sales field and develop financial P&Ls and analytics.
- Ad-hoc Analyses: Support initiatives across Commercial and Finance teams with analyses and project support.
- Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team with new product development.
- Data Maintenance: Support new product code creation, maintain product mapping, and create system inputs during forecast and budget cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Strong process orientation with ability to connect financial analysis to sales processes, providing actionable insights
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong Excel and PowerPoint abilities
