The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
While this Mechanical Engineer role will be fast paced and varied, the main duties will be:
- Learning machining practices
- Ensuring that production lines operate continually with minimum down time
- Ensuring the continuous production on all filling lines (Breitner high filling and capping line, Rationator high filling and capping line, 2 x Norden tube fillers and 1 x TGM tube filler)
- Format changes, setting up and fine-tuning production lines to ensure the best possible speed and efficiency as well as dealing with any possible complications or malfunctions during production
- Keep equipment in good working order by performing regular inspection, cleaning, servicing along with routine and preventative maintenance to make sure the machine or process never breaks down.
- Monitor and check the product quality as they will be responsible for identifying when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct it.
- Know the manufacturing process in great detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff if/when they are not able to correct the problem.
- Bringing up and maintaining the production area to customer compliance standards
