We are seeking a reliable, proactive and community-focused Caretaker to join our school team. This is a key role within the school, responsible for ensuring our premises are safe, secure, well-maintained and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school site, carrying out routine checks, minor repairs, monitoring health and safety compliance, and supporting the smooth running of the school environment. You will also liaise with contractors, manage site-related supplies and support cleaning and maintenance operations.
This role requires someone who is practical, organised and able to work independently while also building positive relationships with staff, pupils and the wider school community. A strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities, including COSHH and safeguarding, is essential.
