My client is looking for an efficient and detail focused Production Planner to help ensure special parts are manufactured safely, efficiently and are cost effective. A rewarding role for anyone who enjoys problem-solving, and being part of a team that keeps production running smoothly.
Reporting to the Senior Production Planner, the key duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Using the company ERP system to maintain high stock accuracy, plan work effectively, and close planned tasks to ensure all information remains up to date and accurate.
- Ensuring that all work is accurately planned, programmed, packed and progressed through production.
- Working closely with other operational teams to support smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.
- Highlighting any potential issues or delays.
- Maintaining and updating the ERP system.
- Delivering excellent service levels to internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a positive approach and strong organisational skills. They should be detail focused, a great communicator and have good administrative skills. Experience in a similar role such as Production Planner, Materials Planner, or Planner along with previous ERP system use, is highly desirable.
