I am delighted to be partnering with a well-respected, profitable, and established engineering business in their search for an Operations Manager. In this role, you will make a positive contribution to the continued profitable growth of the company and provide strong, supportive leadership to the Operations team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively with other senior managers to deliver the company’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring managers within the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
- Developing and implementing plans and strategies to drive productivity, reduce costs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Collating and analysing performance data to ensure efficient output, high quality, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrating the ability to see the bigger picture while contributing to daily operational success.
- Reviewing financial information and adjusting capex and opex budgets to improve profitability and optimise output.
- Ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
- Embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement.
The successful candidate will have experience leading at a senior level within an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environment and will ideally hold a degree in Business Management, Operations, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. You will be an excellent communicator with strong commercial acumen and the ability to positively lead and develop your team within a complex manufacturing environment.
