LH-Recruitment is recruiting for a client in Accrington. In this position, you will work as part of a team reporting to the Supply Chain Manager as a Direct Home Delivery Administrator. Your duties include booking goods in and confirming deliveries once the client has received proof that the goods have been delivered.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Booking in goods and confirming deliveries through our client's in-house EPOS system.
- Management of stock movements and processing stock through the returns system in and out of third‑party warehouses and monitoring of stock currently held in these warehouses.
- Monitoring outstanding purchase orders by age and supplier.
- Organising and keeping up to date with the collection of outstanding goods.
- Monitoring and constant liaison (through portals or e‑mail) with HDI provider to ensure that goods are not manufactured before sufficient balance is paid on the order.
- Taking phone calls from internal suppliers.
- Liaising with various areas of the business.
- Filing and other administrative duties.
- Monitoring and action of order cancellations and change of address requests for DHD orders in a timely manner.

Essential Skills
- IT literate with some knowledge of a financial accounting package.
- Good to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Used to dealing with queries from third parties.
- Methodical and organised with an eye for detail.
- Able to use own initiative, be self‑driven and manage own workload.
Based in Accrington, the client is offering a salary of £17,098.85 for a 6‑month contract. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 30‑minute lunch break.
